About The Role

This is a Fixed Term position until 30th June 2026 working 28 hours per week.

Working closely with the GAMLINK project co-principal investigators (Professor Simon Dymond, Swansea University and Dr Daniel Leightley, King’s College London), the post-holder will help design, conduct, analyse, and report data-linkage studies of gambling-related suicide using the SAIL Databank. We are seeking an enthusiastic, competent and motivated individual, capable of independent working, to apply for internal approvals, conduct coding and analysis of linked, large data-sets, and to carry out and report all statistical analyses.

Welsh Language Skills

The Welsh language level required for this role is Level 1 - A little. The role holder will be able to pronounce Welsh words, answer the phone in Welsh (good morning/afternoon) and use very basic everyday words and phrases (thank you, please etc.). Level 1 can be reached by completing a 1 hour course.
