Offer Description
The National Authority for Research is organizing a competition to fill the position of General Director at the National Agricultural Research and Development Institute – Fundulea, in accordance with the provisions of Government Decision no. 743 of September 18, 2026, approving the Competition Methodology for filling the position of General Director at national research and development institutes, published in the Official Gazette of Romania, Part I no. 804 of September 22, 2026.
The National Agricultural Research and Development Institute – Fundulea is located in the town of Fundulea, 1 Nicolae Titulescu Street, Călărași County.
The field/area of activity consists of conducting fundamental, applied, and technological development research, in accordance with the provisions of Government Decision no. 1,882/2005 regarding the establishment of national agricultural research and development institutes through the reorganization of agricultural research institutes, and the Regulation on the organization and operation of the National Agricultural Research and Development Institute - Fundulea, as provided in Annex no. 1.a) to it.
Candidates must cumulatively meet all the participation requirements for the competition set out in Article 17² paragraph (1) of Law no. 183/2024 regarding the status of research, development, and innovation personnel, with its subsequent amendments and completions.
The documents needed to apply for the competition are the ones listed in Article 9 of the Annex to Government Decision no. 743/2026 regarding the approval of the competition methodology for filling the position of general director at the national research and development institutes.
