The Institute object of activity is the conduct of fundamental and applied research activities in the fields of electrical engineering and energy, in accordance with the provisions of Government Decision no. 1,282/2004, published in the Official Gazette of Romania no. 775 of August 24, 2004, Part I.
Candidates must cumulatively meet the participation requirements set forth in Art. 17² para. (1) of Law no. 183/2024 regarding the status of research, development, and innovation personnel, as subsequently amended and supplemented.
