"General Education 1201 Lecturer (9M)_Newark"

Position Overview

The Ohio State University at Newark seeks two 100% FTE, 9/12 lecturers to teach General Education 1201 courses in academic year 2026-2027. Responsible for facilitation of in-class learning activities, assessments (i.e., quizzes, exams, and homework if applicable), offering of weekly office hours, submission of grades, and resolution of any ongoing student or course issues.

Performance Objectives

• Teaching: Develop and deliver courses in formats that could include in classroom, online, or hybrid. Contribute to the creation and improvement of course content.

Education and Experience Requirements

Required: Masters degree or equivalent. Evidence of successful teaching at the post-secondary level.

Desired: Experience teaching the Gen Ed 1201 courses at OSU.

Additional Information

The budget for this position is up to $55,000.00. The offer for this position will be based on internal equity and the candidate's qualifications.
