Position Overview:  We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead dealership operations and build high-performing teams. This is an opportunity to explore potential leadership opportunities across the Richmond market based on experience, background, and organizational needs. The ideal candidate will be a proven automotive leader with a track record of driving profitability, developing people, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. A stable and progressive employment history is required. Candidates with a pattern of frequent job changes will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead dealership operations across sales, service, parts, and finance.
  • Develop and execute business plans to achieve sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Recruit, develop, coach, and retain high-performing teams.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and use data to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards, dealership policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage dealership financial performance, budgets, and expenses.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, associates, manufacturer representatives, and community partners.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture centered on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead by example and help create an environment where associates can grow and succeed.

Requirements

  • <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Proven experience in automotive dealership management.</li><li>Demonstrated success leading teams and achieving sales and profitability goals.</li><li>Strong understanding of dealership operations, including sales, service, parts, and finance.</li><li>Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to analyze financial and operational data and make sound business decisions.</li><li>Strong business acumen with a focus on customer experience and associate development.</li><li>Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.</li></ul><p><em>Employment offers are contingent upon the successful completion of a drug screening and background check.</em> </p>
