Requirements & Expectations

• Be a European Union national.
• Hold a Doctor of Medicine degree and specialty from a European Union university.
• Speak French at a minimum C1 level, allowing for good communication with patients, and write in French at a minimum B2 level. Language proficiency certificates dated within the last four years must be presented.
• Not have been subject to serious criminal or professional sanctions.
• Already be registered with the Belgian Medical Association or another country in the European Union/European Economic Area, or eligible to register with the Belgian Medical Association.
• Be motivated to settle permanently in Belgium and practice your profession with professional conscientiousness, while respecting the Code of Ethics of the Belgian Medical Association.
