Job Description

Jilin Normal University, a key provincial university with a long history and outstanding educational achievements, is committed to promoting international academic exchanges and improving the quality of foreign language teaching. In order to further strengthen the construction of the German language discipline, we are now recruiting German foreign teachers.

1. Job Responsibilities

• Undertake German language teaching tasks, with 16 teaching hours per week.
• Participate in the development and improvement of German teaching plans, teaching materials and teaching methods.
• Organize German cultural exchange activities to enhance students’ understanding of German-speaking countries’ culture.
• Assist in the daily work of the German language department, such as guiding students’ extracurricular learning.

2. Requirements

• Age: Under 57 years old.
• Nationality: Native German speaker.
• Education Background: Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Work Experience/Certificate: At least 2 years of German teaching experience, or holding a valid German teaching certificate.
• Professional Quality: Have a good command of German language skills, familiar with German teaching theories and methods; have a strong sense of responsibility, love education, and be able to get along well with students and colleagues.

3. Welfare Benefits

• Salary: Monthly salary of RMB 12,000.
