Contract: Full Time, Fixed Term Contract to 31 October 2029.

About Us

Spanning the historic streets of the "city of dreaming spires", the University of Oxford has been ranked the world’s leading university for ten consecutive years. A place where centuries of tradition meet world-changing innovation, we offer you the chance to shape the future while working in an inspiring environment that promotes excellence. Here, you’ll contribute to ground-breaking research that tackles global challenges - from advancing sustainability to pioneering healthcare solutions - and join a diverse, inclusive community that champions your wellbeing, development, and aspirations. Apply now to become part of our extraordinary legacy.

Oxford has over 13,000 graduate students, making up more than half of the full-time student body. Nearly two thirds are from outside the UK, representing around 140 countries and highlighting Oxford’s global reach.

This is a key role coordinating the UNIQplus programme and working with stakeholders across the University, departments, and colleges. With graduate access a growing priority, this is an exciting opportunity to help develop and support the University’s flagship postgraduate access programme and related initiatives.

What We Offer

Working at the University of Oxford offers several exclusive benefits, such as:

  • 38 days’ leave (incl. public holidays), with options to buy more and extra long-service leave.
  • Generous family leave, including up to 26 weeks’ full-pay maternity/adoption and 12 weeks’ full-pay paternity/partner leave.
  • Flexible hybrid working and an excellent pension.
  • Discounted commuting (cycle scheme, buses, season tickets) and access to social, cultural, and sports clubs.

About the Role

The post-holder will manage and co-ordinate the UNIQplus postgraduate access programme, working with academic and administrative stakeholders across the collegiate University. They will lead on programme events, application development, the assessment process, and other administrative tasks, as well as managing communications with applicants, interns, and internal stakeholders.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone committed to widening participation and supporting underrepresented students. We are seeking an experienced events or project manager with strong administrative and organisational skills to join a growing area of work, as UNIQplus expands in 2025–26 to include a new online element.

About You

This post is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about access and widening participation, with strong event and project planning skills and experience supporting complex programmes.

The role requires both teamwork and the confidence to work independently, proactively, and flexibly, with strong communication skills and experience engaging diverse audiences at all levels.
