Location
Our West Campus is located at 2400 Gillionville Road, Albany, GA 31707. Our East Campus is located at 504 College Drive, Albany, GA 31705. The Human Resources office for both campuses is located on the West Campus in Building K, Suite 209.
Job Summary
The Graduate Research Assistant (GRA) supports the teaching, research, and service mission of Albany State University by assisting faculty advisors or mentors with scholarly and academic activities. Graduate research assistants contribute to research projects, collect and analyze data, conduct literature reviews, assist with laboratory or field activities, prepare reports and presentations, and perform other duties related to their academic program and professional development. GRAs are expected to maintain high standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and academic integrity while developing research skills and gaining practical experience that supports their graduate education and future career goals.

Responsibilities
Graduate teaching/research assistantships at Albany State University are designed to support the University's mission of excellence in teaching, research, and service while providing graduate students with valuable opportunities for professional development. Graduate assistants are assigned to faculty advisors or mentors within the hiring department and perform duties that support the instructional, research, and service activities of the department. Responsibilities may include assisting with teaching, laboratory supervision, research projects, or other academic and service-related activities aligned with the student's program of study.
Required Qualifications
Must be a graduate student admitted as a regular student in good academic standing, full-time, and maintain a 3.0 or above.
