Description
Under the direction of the assigned manager, develop and initiate complete graphic designs, layouts and finished artwork for illustrative purposes; produce graphic print materials for District use; and perform a variety of typesetting tasks in the production of various materials.
DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS:
This is a single level specialized classification allocated only to the Publication Center. The Graphic Artist is responsible for independently developing and initiating complete graphic designs, layouts and finished artwork for illustrative purposes; and producing graphic print materials for District use.

- Design and produce a wide variety of graphic art for printing; produce a wide variety of printed materials for the District including the college catalog, class schedule, phone directories, newsletters, publications, handouts, and brochures.
