Graphic Designer - Multimedia

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered.

Experience:

• Minimum of three years of professional design experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop required).
• Familiarity with generative AI as it relates to design.
• Familiarity with motion and video design tools such as After Effects and Premiere Pro preferred.
• Strong understanding of production processes for both print and digital media.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain high-quality standards.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Develops creative concepts and designs consistent with brand identity standards established by the Marketing Services Department.
• Produces integrated marketing campaign elements and publications from concept through completion for print, web, video and digital presentation.
• Collaborates with clients and marketing service team members to deliver design solutions that meet strategic, budgetary, and scheduling goals.
• Supports organization and metadata tagging of photography within the College’s digital asset management (DAM) system to ensure efficient access and brand consistency.
• Supports Visual Content Specialist in photography and video needs when required.
• Requests, reviews, and recommends vendor quotes for print, and other production services; coordinates with internal printshop and external vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Stays current with design, marketing, and technology trends and recommends new tools, practices, and innovations.
• Uses industry-standard design software and project management platforms to produce, track, and deliver work.
• Assists in coordinating work from freelance designers, photographers, and agencies as needed.
• Ensures all deliverables meet brand, accessibility, and quality standards across print and digital platforms.
• Supports project timelines and ensures internal and external deadlines are met.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
