Job Summary
Prepare and install interior and exterior signage using computerized engraving system. Produce design graphics layouts for signage. Fabricate signs in a variety of methods to ensure smooth production.
Responsibilities
- Perform graphics work in the layout graphic and fabrication of a variety of signs and printouts
- Install, replace and repair signage in order to meet various local/ federal government signage standards
- Fabricate signage using vinyl plotter
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Required Experience
- Two (2) or more years of related work experience
Proposed Salary
$19.15 - $23.97 per hour
This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
ABILITIES
- Consistently exhibit engaging customer service
- Ability to support various constituencies served by the University
- Proven proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office, Google, and/or applications as required for specific position
- Ability to operate: computerized self-sustaining engraving sign machines, heat transfer press, cut-off saw and edge beveling machines
- Ability to read and understand construction plans and work order instructions
KNOWLEDGE
- Adhere to University policies and procedures to meet Institutional goals and support University's mission for student success
- Familiar with computer or graphic software (such as Quark, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop)
- Knowledge of the standards in layout and fabrication techniques of signage
SKILLS
- Effective communication (verbal and written), organizational and human relations skills
- Skill in operating a variety of graphics-related equipment: printers, plotters, scanners, and sublimation devices
- Attentive to detail
