Position Summary

The responsibilities of the Greenhouse and Garden/Grounds Assistant involves general greenhouse work and maintenance activities such as watering, fertilizing, weeding, planting, cleaning, and plant propagation. Assistants work alongside the Greenhouse Manager to maintain and operate three production greenhouses and outdoor nursery gaining valuable hands-on experience.

Duties/Responsibilities

Greenhouse care and maintenance activities such as planting, weeding, watering, fertilizing, propagation, cleaning pots, and sanitizing floors and benches to maintain a clean and productive growing environment in the greenhouses and outside in the nursery area.
