Hours per week: 37.5 hours per week

Normal Work Schedule: 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Monday - Thursday; 6:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Friday

Duties include: Performs supervisory duties for all direct reports. Routinely visits campus grounds to ensure proper work is completed. Ensures that all equipment and supplies are adequate and properly maintained for assigned staff. Performs turf maintenance, landscaping, and waste removal as needed. Assists with interviews and selection of staff for vacant departmental positions.

Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Experience in the grounds field and supervisory experience.

Preferred Qualifications: At least two (2) years of experience in the grounds field and at least two (2) years of supervisory experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Must have knowledge of best grounds maintenance practices. Must be able to operate equipment used in providing grounds maintenance. Must have good communication skills. Must have strong computer skills. Must have strong customer service skills. Must possess a valid SC driver’s license.

Salary: Minimum starting salary is $33,339.00
