Perform general landscaping tasks such as mowing, pruning, trimming, weeding, watering, and planting according to species using appropriate horticultural practices.Install or renovate landscapes as directed.Plant trees, shrubs, ground covers, cacti, and flowers.Place organic and inorganic landscape materials such as mulch, soil, and various-sized rocks and boulders.Support University outdoor events through setup and by providing temporary trash and recycling containers, occasional staffing throughout an event, and post-event breakdown and cleanup.Ensure event spaces are clean, safe, and prepared for guests before, during, and after events.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):- Ability to communicate effectively with different groups and individuals.
- Ability to use non-powered equipment such as hand pruners, loppers, hedge pruners, shovels, rakes, brooms, and scoops.
- Ability to safely operate battery- or gas-powered equipment such as utility carts, motor vehicles, handheld and backpack blowers, hedge trimmers, chainsaws, line trimmers, lawn mowers, and pressure washers.
- Capable of navigating uneven surfaces and working outdoors in varying weather conditions for the majority of the workday.

Notice of Availability of the Annual Security and Fire Safety ReportIn compliance with the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an
Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University's campuses. These reports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims. As a campus with residential housing facilities, the Main Campus ASR also includes a combined Annual Fire Safety report with information on fire statistics and fire safety systems, policies, and procedures.
