Job Summary

The groundskeeper II maintains campus landscapes to ensure a clean, healthy, and visually appealing environment. Responsibilities include mowing, pruning, planting, and seasonal preparation of vegetation, as well as treating areas for pests and weeds while adhering to safety standards.

Essential Job Functions

• Manages and maintains campus vegetation by mowing; pruning, trimming, and staking trees and shrubs
• Maintains the cleanliness of campus grounds by removing trash, debris, and other refuse
• Operates various equipment including skid steer loaders, tractors, backhoes, front-end loaders, dump trucks, and aerial lift trucks
• Instructs groundskeepers in applying sprays, dusts, and other materials
