Department Summary

UCLA Lake Arrowhead Lodge is a unique Southern California meeting and retreat venue. Located high in the pine-studded San Bernardino Mountains on the tranquil shores of Lake Arrowhead, our 50-acre lodge provides meeting space and accommodations for groups from September through mid-June. During the summer, Bruins Woods Family Camp program runs for ten consecutive weeks, with up to 80 families attending each week.

Position Summary

Provides housekeeping and guest services for the Lake Arrowhead Lodge (LAL). Responsible for ensuring that standards of cleanliness in assigned guest rooms are achieved and maintained consistently to provide the highest level of guest satisfaction in cleanliness and service. Accountable for responding to guest requests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service. Tasks are expected to be performed per LAL's guidelines for quality customer service.

Salary & Compensation

Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. Qualifications

• Knowledge of fundamental custodial tasks and procedures (Required)
• Knowledge of proper use of chemical materials and cleaning techniques (Required)
• Ability to comply with safety standards and procedures for both personal and public safety (Required)
• Knowledge of carpet and hard floor care techniques (Required)
• Knowledge of inventory control principles and methods (Required)
• Ability to engage with diverse populations in a respectful and culturally responsive manner (Required)
• Ability to sufficiently communicate in written and verbal English to receive work assignments and share information with supervisors and colleagues (Required)
• Ability to work cooperatively as a part of a team (Required)
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance (Required)

Special Conditions for Employment
