About the role

The Electrical & Computer Engineering Department at Gulf University for Science & Technology (GUST) is seeking to recruit faculty member to join the department and support its teaching, academic, and service activities, starting from Fall 2026/2027.

The successful candidate will:

• Deliver high-quality teaching in Computer Engineering undergraduate courses and laboratory sessions, aligned with the department’s curriculum.
• Supervise senior design projects and provide academic advising to students.
• Contribute to curriculum development, assessment, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in departmental, college, and accreditation activities.
• Maintain an active interest in research and scholarly activities relevant to Computer Engineering.

Candidate Profile

• Hold a PhD in Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Demonstrate experience and commitment to high-quality teaching at the undergraduate level.
• Show evidence of effective student engagement, mentoring, and academic support.
• Possess strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within an academic environment.
• Demonstrate potential for engagement in research and professional development.
