HDR Examinations Officer
Classification: ANU Officer 4 (Administration)
Salary package: $79,314 - $85,809 per annum plus 17% superannuation
Terms: Full-time, fixed term (until March 2027)
The ANU Graduate Research School, headed by the Pro-Vice Chancellor (Research Training), provides the academic leadership, strategic direction and oversight of the University’s Higher Degree Research Programs to ensure delivery of high-quality, internationally benchmarked research programs.
The Graduate Research School delivers higher degree research (HDR) governance, administration and training. The Graduate Research School is client-focused and aims to deliver seamless, responsive, consistent, and effective services, advice and support to HDR candidates and staff.
The Position overview
As an HDR Examinations Officer, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of the Examinations, Prizes and Events pillar within the Graduate Research School.
Your responsibilities will include providing front-line reception and customer service support, liaising with students and staff, and delivering project and administrative assistance. You will help ensure the efficient and effective delivery of Graduate Research School services to HDR students and university staff, a providing positive experience for all stakeholders.
The Person
The ideal candidate is well-organised, approachable, and committed to delivering outstanding customer service. They will have a keen eye for detail and a proactive mindset, thrive in a fast-paced environment and able to confidently manage competing priorities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare routine correspondence and liaise professionally with an independently and collaboratively as part of a supportive team.
