Head Coach Women's Soccer
Position Summary
The SUNY Geneseo Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and Recreation seeks qualified candidates for the position of Head Coach for Women's Soccer. This full-time, 10-month, fully-benefited position will coordinate and oversee all aspects of the women's soccer program.
In this role, you will be responsible for administering all aspects of the program with specific duties including but not limited to:
- effective recruitment and retention of qualified student-athletes;
- individual skill development of student-athletes;
- scheduling;
- budget preparation and management;
- participation in department fundraising, community service, and alumni engagement efforts;
- monitoring academic performance;
- adherence to all NCAA, Empire 8, and SUNY Geneseo rules and regulations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 1-2 years coaching experience at the collegiate level
- Demonstrated ability to recruit and retain student-athletes who are committed to academic and athletic excellence
- Demonstrated commitment to the campus values of diversity, equity and inclusion
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Head coaching experience at the collegiate level
