Job Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Athletics, administer, manage, and lead all aspects of a highly competitive NJCAA women's softball program. Responsibilities include student-athlete recruitment and retention, coaching, player development, academic success, compliance, budget oversight, fundraising, community engagement, staff supervision, and program administration.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Provide leadership and oversight for all aspects of the women's softball program, including recruiting, coaching, player development, scheduling, scouting, practice planning, game strategy, travel coordination, equipment management, and team supervision.
Recruit, retain, and develop qualified student-athletes who align with the mission, values, and academic standards of Salt Lake Community College.
Monitor and support student-athlete academic progress, eligibility, retention, and graduation.
Ensure full compliance with NJCAA, Scenic West Athletic Conference, Region 18, and institutional rules.
Develop and administer the program budget.
Supervise, mentor, and evaluate assistant coaches and support staff.
Develop and implement fundraising initiatives, donor engagement strategies, youth camps, clinics, and community outreach efforts.
