We are looking to appoint a Head of Learning and Teaching to lead our busy and thriving Learning and Teaching department. As part of this exciting role, you will be a member of the Strategic Leadership Team and work with the Programme Leaders and management team to oversee the Degree, Norland Diploma and MA programme. This is an important time in Norland’s history and this postholder will join as we apply for University Title and will contribute to our next TEF submission.

You must hold an MA or equivalent and have substantial experience in senior-level management within higher education.

The successful candidate should have good attention to detail and strong analytical skills. They should be an Early Years specialist with experience designing, leading and evaluating degrees at undergraduate and post graduate level. They will be able to listen and act with empathy and apply regulations and standards consistently and clearly.

You will need to be a self-starter, with the ability to get on well with people, be highly organised in order to meet deadlines and work to a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment. A flexible approach to work and a friendly, approachable nature are key to being successful in this role.
