Position Summary:

Central Michigan University, an FBS member of the Mid-American Conference, is seeking applicants for a Head Womens Soccer Coach. Position is a full-time, 12 month appointment with full benefit package. Salary is commensurate with experience.

This position will oversee all aspects of a Division I program, including the supervision of two full-time assistant coaches. The Head Coach is responsible for working within a prescribed budget, identifying and recruiting athletically and academically talented student-athletes, meeting fundraising expectations, community service engagement, and maintaining compliance with NCAA, MAC, and CMU rules and regulations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree.
  • Womens soccer coaching and recruiting experience.
  • Budget management experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Ability to motivate student-athletes to be successful academically and athletically.
  • Possess proven integrity.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to following MAC and NCAA rules and regulations.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree.
  • Division I coaching and recruiting experience.
