Job Description
The Department of Radiology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks a full-time interventional radiologist to join its expanding Division of Interventional Radiology. UAB Medicine is a state-of-the-art academic medical center located in the vibrant city of Birmingham, Alabama. About the Division
Our robust IR division is led by a dedicated team of faculty interventional radiologists and strengthened by physician assistants, an established IR clinic, and scheduling staff who help coordinate longitudinal patient care and streamline referrals. The division includes all ACGME-accredited interventional radiology residency training pathways. The incoming faculty member will contribute to continued growth across inpatient and outpatient services at UAB Hospital, Children's of Alabama, and The Kirklin Clinic of UAB Hospital — all conveniently located on the same campus to facilitate multidisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications
- Board certified or board eligible in Interventional Radiology (IR/DR or DR with CAQ)
- Completion of accredited interventional radiology training (residency or fellowship)
- Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Alabama
- J-1 waiver may be considered for qualified applicants
