The integration of leadership and management skills within a philosophical framework of higher education is based upon a student learning and outcome-driven curriculum that will facilitate their development as future leaders. We additionally develop proficiency required to lead highly functional teams within postsecondary education.
Career Pathways
Graduates of our program pursue careers as college presidents, academic deans, student affairs deans, directors of institutional development, registrars, directors of admissions, directors of residence life, and vice presidents of higher education institutions.
Additionally, graduates pursue senior management positions in governmental and non-governmental agencies, foundations, and policy groups.

- Three letters of recommendation. We recommend that at least one reference be professional (i.e., from a supervisor or a colleague) and at least one be academic (i.e., from someone with knowledge of your performance in an academic setting such as a master's program). However, it is acceptable for all three references to be professional.
