Offer Description
Employment contract will be concluded for full-time work, for a fixed-term period – until 30 September 2027. Expected start of work from 1 October 2026 onwards or by agreement.
Tasks to be performed by the public employee:
- delivering lectures, leading seminars, and carrying out other forms of direct pedagogical work specified in the acts of UP,
- coordinating and supervising the work of other course providers and testing students' knowledge in the subject areas in accordance with the curricula and advancements in the field,
- mentoring/co-mentoring final theses in accordance with the acts of UP,
- participating in the design and updating of curricula for subject areas, as well as in adapting study programs and their implementation to the requirements of the field's development, planning and preparing appropriate study materials and literature,
- participating in the scientific-research field, transferring the results of scientific research work into the study process, and participating in activities related to pedagogical and scientific-research work in the field of expertise,
- guiding students' research work and study activities,
- conducting consultations and office hours with students,
- participating in appointment procedures for academic staff and higher education teachers at UP,
- performing other professional and development work,
- participating in the work of bodies, working groups, and commissions of the member faculty or university,
- performing other tasks as directed by superiors.

Required education:
- doctorate of Science (previous system)
- doctorate of Science (PhD)
Special conditions:
- valid election to the title of Assistant Professor for the specified field (in accordance with the Criteria for Appointment to Titles at UP dated 18 December 2024),
- computer skills,
- handling of audiovisual equipment,
- ability to work in a team,
- organizational skills,
- advisory skills,
- independence,
- good communication skills,
- practical skills.
Work experience: 5 years.
Desired knowledge and abilities:
- aptitude for working with students,
- writing and editing various (including demanding) types of texts,
- adaptability and flexibility,
- readiness for additional education and training at home and abroad,
- desire for continuous professional, pedagogical, and scientific-research improvement in the subject field,
- active knowledge of a global language - English,
- B category driver's license is desirable.
