Hoomau Learning Program Non-Credit Instructor (Casual Hire)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, teach community health courses assigned.
• Develop curriculum and teach non-credit courses.
• Subjects include but are not limited to: Wellness & Active Living, Leisure & Enrichment, Technology & Digital Confidence, Workforce & Community Education, Hawaiian Culture & Place-Based Learning, Caregiving & Support Education.
• Evening, weekend, and distance education classes may be assigned.
• Ability to communicate clearly and teach for a variety of audiences, including adult learners and veterans.
• Teaching assignment is as needed and dependent upon course enrollment.
• Other duties as assigned.
