"Hospital Assistant III - Ambulatory MRI Imaging Facility"

Under the direction of the Chief Research Tech Supervisor, the Hospital Assistant supports daily operations within a high-volume ambulatory MRI imaging facility that provides both clinical and research services. The incumbent assists with patient and research participant intake, vital signs and health screenings, MRI safety screening, rooming, and post-appointment processes to ensure efficient workflow and patient throughput. The role also supports preparation and turnover of exam rooms and MRI suites, equipment checks, inventory management, and maintenance of required clinical and research documentation. This position is essential to maintaining safe, compliant, and efficient imaging operations while supporting both patient care and research protocol activities.

The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.

Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.

The salary range for this position is $32.86 - $41.01 (Hourly Rate).
