Position Summary: The incumbent demonstrates competency in all duties typically performed by a non-invasive cardiovascular technologist. Under general supervision independently performs complex cardiovascular procedures, including treadmill stress testing, nuclear stress imaging, pharmacological and exercise echocardiogram. Performs 24 hour ambulatory ECG and blood pressure monitoring and ECGs. Assists in data management of the ECG, Stress & Holter system. Displays professional conduct at all times in their interactions with other staff members, patients and visitors. Self motivation and versatility are strong requisite characteristics for this position. Also, this position will require traveling between all cardiology off-sites clinics for procedural support.

Required Qualifications: Understanding of medical terminology, infectious control techniques and age related acuity levels; Must be competent in collecting and interpreting data about the patient's status in order to identify each patient's age specific needs; Knowledge of medical terminology, infectious control techniques and age related acuity levels; Knowledge of complex cardiac arrhythmias; Experience in recognition of arrhythmia; Current BLS certification; Ability to regularly travel locally to Ambulatory Practice off-site locations; Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English; Ability to maintain flexibility and work well in a constantly changing environment.

Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in cardiac stress testing; Bilingual skills in English and Spanish and/or Vietnamese; Ability to instruct others in the use of equipment and performance of procedures.
