The Drexel Way

We don’t just sell lumber; we Supply. Happiness. Drexel is Team Member-owned and community-driven. With six retail hubs and three manufacturing plants across Wisconsin, we’ve been a Top Workplace every year since 2011. Why? Because we hire for heart and train for skill. When you join Team Blue, you aren't just an intern - you’re an owner.

The Mission

As our Hospitality & Tailgate Intern, your primary objective is to take Drexel’s signature hospitality on the road - delivering high-energy, memorable experiences directly to our builder clients where they work. Operating our signature food truck on daily Tailgate Tours, you will serve as the front-line face of Team Blue, bringing fresh meals, branded gear, and positive energy to active job sites across Wisconsin. By pairing food service operations with field marketing and content creation, you ensure every contractor and trade partner experiences firsthand what it means when Drexel supplies happiness.

  • Logistics & Daily Supply Prep: Coordinate closely with the Marketing team to ensure complete inventory tracking, strict food safety standards, and full stocking of food, beverages, and supplies prior to departures.
  • Field Marketing & Content Creation: Capture engaging photo and video content on location to showcase jobsite activations, customer engagement, and field execution across Drexel’s social media channels.
  • Brand Ambassadorship: Set a high-energy tone on every jobsite to reinforce brand loyalty, embody company core values, and create memorable customer experiences.
