JOB TITLE: Athletics Concessions Food Service Worker

JOB PURPOSE:

Food Service Worker to provide quality food with exceptional service to fans attending athletic events.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Our goal is to provide quality food with exceptional service to fans attending athletic events. Successful applicants must:

• Cleaning and setting up stands for the upcoming football season
• Cleaning and setting up of stands for basketball arena
• Preparing popcorn for summer movie events
• Painting and general upkeep of concessions stands
• Follow all health and safety regulations
• Adhere to Athletics Customer Service standards at all times
• Plus any other duties that may be assigned

Game day work typically begins 5 hours before kickoff and ends 2 hours after the event concludes, typically an 8-9 hour day. Additional setup and downtime hours are available. Food service and cash handling experience preferred. Employees must have a high attention to detail and be willing to learn. Customer Service skills a must. Once again MUST be able to work all 7 home football games. Hourly Wage based on skills and experience, starting at $12.00-$13.00/hour

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: High School Diploma or GED

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Food service and cash handling experience preferred
• Must have a high attention to detail and be willing to learn
• Customer service skills a must
