ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform maintenance and repair on customer (UW) vehicles.
• Identify problems with vehicles using diagnostic equipment.
• Explain automotive repairs and issues and provide great customer service.
• Plan repair procedures using charts, manuals and experience.
• Test the functionality of parts and systems.
• Perform basic auto care and maintenance such as oil changes, fluid level checks, and tire rotations.
• Repair and replace brake pads, wheel bearings, sensors and other parts as needed.
• Perform alignments, tire repair and tire replacement as needed.
• Willingness to learn with hands-on training.
• Help keep repair shop cleaned and organized.
• Operation of vehicle lifts.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Vocational School, On-the-Job Experience, or Associate's degree. Valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) compliant with the Driving for University Business SAP.
