Overview

The housekeeper is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming guest rooms and common areas to ensure that visitors, speakers, and guests have a positive experience while on campus.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Coordinate daily with the Reservations Office to stay informed of changes and updates to guest bookings
• Clean and disinfect guest rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas used by University guests
• Replenish supplies, make beds, and reset spaces to "ready" status following each checkout
• Identify and report maintenance and safety issues in a timely manner
• Lift, push, and move items weighing up to 50 pounds as needed
• Travel to and work at off-site and various campus locations on a daily basis
• Collaborate with housekeeping staff and porters to support operational needs
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to follow written instructions, work both independently and as part of a team
