HP NonStop (Tandem) Engineer / Advisory Consultant

Role can be performed fully remote (Candidates must be UK based with full right to work)
Negotiable/Market day rate - Inside IR35
An experienced, UK based HP NonStop (Tandem) Specialist is required to undertake a discovery and assessment engagement across a critical legacy platform estate.
The consultant will work with business and technical stakeholders to understand business processes, application functionality, interfaces, dependencies and operational requirements, creating the foundational documentation and architectural understanding required to support future transformation, modernisation or support initiatives.
The ideal candidate will combine deep HP NonStop technical knowledge with strong consulting and stakeholder engagement skills, capable of translating complex legacy technology into clear business and architectural insight. They will provide the foundational understanding required for future decision-making rather than delivering detailed solution design or hands-on development
Essential Experience
- Strong HP NonStop (Tandem) platform knowledge.
- Understanding of Guardian, SQL/MP, SQL/MX, Pathway, Enscribe, TACL and associated NonStop technologies.
- Proven experience performing technical discovery and estate assessments.
- Ability to engage with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Experience documenting legacy estates and creating architectural artefacts.
- Strong analysis, facilitation and documentation skills.
