Manage multiple email inboxes and provide timely professional
customer service to George Mason faculty and staff across multiple
departments, including referring complex issues to appropriate
teammates as necessary;
Administer learning activities within George Mason's Learning
Management System (LMS), including posting trainings, managing
registrations, updating content, and running reports;
Provide basic technical support by serving as a point of
contact for the Learning Management System;
Assist with setup for in-person and virtual
workshops/events/meetings and serve as moderator for virtual
learning opportunities;
Support the delivery of in-person and virtual learning,
including logistics support, setup, troubleshooting, and moderating
virtual learning events;
Provide information on George Mason policies in concise,
easy-to-understand language;
Use Qualtrics to create, send, and synthesize learning
evaluations and feedback; and
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience providing administrative support in a professional
office environment, including scheduling, coordination, and
customer service;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Teams, Word,
Excel, and PowerPoint;
- Demonstrated experience with email management and email
customer service;
- Experience with virtual meeting platforms such as Microsoft
Teams and Zoom, to include providing participant support and
moderating group sessions;
- Effective interpersonal communication and customer service
skills, including tact and diplomacy;
- Ability to prioritize competing deadlines, follow through, and
be flexible to team needs;
- Ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information
with discretion and professionalism;
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
- Ability to collaborate with diverse individuals with differing
needs at all levels of the organization; and
- Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to
detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a Human Resources or Learning and Development
setting;
- Higher education or public workforce experience;
- Experience with Cornerstone or other Learning Management
Systems;
- Experience working with design tools such as Canva, Piktochart,
and Adobe; and
- Experience with Qualtrics or other survey design tools.
