HR Clerk
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
- Currently enrolled at Central Ohio Technical College
- Ideally pursuing a business-related degree
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive and personal information
- Customer service experience
- Experience working in an office environment
- Ability to work independently to complete assignments
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
Summary of Duties:
- The position provides administrative and customer service support to the Human Resources Office.
- Responsibilities include assisting employees and visitors in person and by phone, preparing new hire orientation and open enrollment materials, performing data entry and recordkeeping functions, scanning and filing documents, and maintaining HR records.
- The role also supports HR projects, assists with reviewing and updating position descriptions, conducts research on HR best practices, and performs other administrative duties as assigned.
Work Hours: Varies based upon departmental needs
