We are currently recruiting for a Temporary HR Officer to join a department within Oxford University. This position offers an exciting opportunity to support a busy HR department with general admin duties as well as with recruitment and contract administration.
The position is set to commence ASAP and will be full-time for an initial duration of 12 weeks.
Duties
To provide general day-to-day administrative support on:
- Contract administration – e.g., drafting casual contracts, fixed term contracts, extensions, and letters
- Payroll administration – e.g., making changes on HR system (PXD) to ensure appointments are set up correctly so that payroll has the correct information to pay staff correctly
- Other general administration in supporting the employee life cycle
The ideal candidate will have solid administrative skills, good organisational ability, excellent attention to detail, a systematic and logical approach, and an ability to follow processes and procedures.
Please be aware that all candidates need to be able to start work immediately and must be able to work on site if required to do so.
