The HR Partnering Pillar includes the HR Partnering model consisting of two HR Partners and the Head of HR Partnering; and the HR Service Centre consisting of two staff. The HR Partnering team acts as front-facing strategic partners to leadership and management across the University. The HR Service Centre is the virtual and physical front door to the HR function for all current, prospective, and former staff.
The HR Partner role has a dedicated portfolio of client groups consisting of Academic and Central University units; the postholder acts as a trusted advisor to their client groups and aligns advice and guidance with University goals and priorities. While responsibility for operational HR delivery sits within the other HR Pillars, the HR Partner works with the specialist teams from the other HR Pillars to support the delivery of service to leadership and management. Reporting to the Head of HR Partnering and working as a member of the HR Management team, this senior HR professional will have the responsibility for supporting the Head of HR Partnering to develop and implement the objectives of the HR Partnering Pillar, to support leadership and management across the community in achieving the University’s strategic objectives and enable excellence in service delivery. We are seeking to appoint a HR Partner to the HR Partnering team.
Salary:
Senior Administrative Officer IV (2025): €70,034 – €111,202 p.a. (7 points)
Appointments will be made in accordance with public sector pay provisions.
