This position supports the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department and assists with HR functions throughout the employee lifecycle. Responsibilities include recruiting and interviewing, management of job postings and staffing agency relationships, new-hire onboarding, employee records and documentation, benefits administration, training and development, employee relations, general human resource duties, and employee engagement and retention.
This position serves as a resource for employees and managers and assists with maintaining consistent HR practices, accurate documentation, and a positive employee experience.
Recruiting & Staffing
- Manage recruiting activities from job posting through hire.
- Post positions, screen applicants, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate hiring-manager interviews.
- Manage relationships with staffing agencies and coordinate temporary, contract, and direct-hire needs.
- Coordinate offers, pre-employment requirements, hiring documentation, and recruiting records.
New-Hire Onboarding
- Coordinate onboarding from offer acceptance through orientation.
- Prepare new-hire documentation and conduct or coordinate orientation.
- Partner with managers to ensure employees are prepared for their first day and successful transition.
Employee Records & Benefits
- Maintain confidential personnel files and accurate HR records.
- Process employee changes, including promotions, transfers, compensation changes, and terminations.
- Assist employees with benefit enrollment, qualifying life events, open enrollment, and benefit questions.
- Coordinate with benefit providers and brokers as needed.
Training & Development
- Coordinate and track employee and management training.
- Maintain training records and support employee development initiatives.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Serve as an HR resource for employee questions, workplace concerns, and company policies.
- Support management with performance matters, coaching, and corrective-action documentation.
- Coordinate employee recognition, engagement, retention, stay-interview, and exit-interview initiatives.
- Help promote positive employee relations and workplace culture.

- Previous Human Resources experience, preferably in HR generalist and recruiting role.
- Experience with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, employee documentation, benefits, and employee relations.
- Experience working with job-posting platforms and staffing agencies preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Working knowledge of applicable employment laws and HR practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR/payroll systems.
Compensation details: 65000-70000 Yearly Salary
