Job Title:Hub Tutor Work Study

Location:Ellsworth Community College

Department: Academic Support

Reports To: Director Of Student Success

Job Classification: Student, non-exempt, hourly timesheet

Rate Of Pay: $10.00/hour

Summary:The purpose of this position is to tutor students in various subjects 8-10 hours per week. The length of employment is routinely the academic year( fall and spring terms); however, some work may be performed during the summer as needed.

Job Duties:

• Effectively tutor students in a targeted subject by walk-in or scheduled appointment
• Schedule work time with supervisor
• Attend tutor orientation and informational meetings
• Complete and turn in timesheets accurately and according to payroll calendar timelines

Abilities: Good people skills and a helpful attitude; strong technology and database research skills and ability to communicate them to others; good organizational skills and take direction; attention to detail and accuracy completing tasks.

Education And Experience: HS Diploma or equivalent: minimum grade of B in targeted course; overall GPA of 3.0; recommendation of instructor or targeted course.
