Essential Job Duties:
Are you a detail-oriented HR professional who thrives on providing top-tier support to varied teams? Campus Enterprises is seeking a dynamic HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team. In this role, you will serve as a vital partner to supervisors and employees, ensuring that our division operates smoothly, stays compliant, and upholds the highest standards of HR excellence.
Reporting to the Assistant HR Director, you will manage the full transactional employee life cycle for designated units, blending technical expertise in HR systems with a person-centered approach to service.
As an HR Generalist, your work will touch every stage of the employee experience:
- Employment Lifecycle Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for student, temporary, and SHRA employment requests.
- Compliance & Recordkeeping: Take a lead role in managing the I-9 system and OnBase (our digital personnel file system) to ensure strict adherence to federal and state regulations.
- Talent Acquisition Support: Partner with hiring managers and selection committees to navigate University hiring policies and ensure staffing needs are met efficiently.
- Payroll & Leave Administration: Review bi-weekly and monthly payroll for accuracy.
+ Manage time corrections within the WolfTime system.
+ Assist with complex leave administration, including FMLA, PPL, and Worker's Compensation - Data Integrity: Perform all data entry within the HRIM system with high attention to detail.
- Training & Development: Identify procedural gaps and assist in developing and delivering training to divisional staff.

- Assist with various HR related projects/assignments/tasks. Perform other duties as assigned to ensure Human Resources business needs are met.
Minimum Experience/Education:
Bachelor's degree; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

- Regulatory Expertise: Strong working knowledge of federal and state HR laws, as well as University-specific policies.
- Systems Fluency: Comfort with HRIM systems, payroll software, and digital filing platforms.
- Efficiency: The ability to manage high-volume transactional processes in a timely and accurate manner.
- Communication Skills: Delivers excellent customer service by providing clear, actionable guidance to supervisors while building strong, collaborative relationships with employees, customers, peers, and University Human Resources.
- Deadline Management: Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, including meeting deadlines and entering a high volume of data.
