Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Human Resources Manager (Academics) for the School of Arts and Sciences.
The School of Arts and Sciences, the largest unit in Rutgers University, is comprised of numerous academic departments, as well as numerous programs, centers, and institutes. SAS has a membership of over 2,900 permanent and temporary faculty (instructional and research), teaching and graduate assistants, part-time lecturers, and post-doctoral appointees.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
- Provides accurate, timely, and independent management of day-to-day administration of faculty policies and programs within the School of Arts and Sciences.
- Develops, directs, and coordinates procedures relating to faculty matters including appointment, reappointment and promotion, manages the Recruitment, Onboarding and Classification System (ROCS) and other faculty related actions.
- Initiates, researches and responds to individual inquiries and large-scale communications.
- Independently, manages the above duties under the broad direction of the Associate Director of Human Resources.

Minimum Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, plus five years of administrative experience.
