HVAC Controls Tech
This position is also responsible for the scheduling of preventive and corrective maintenance in all areas of campus. This position has full responsibility for the operation and maintenance of all HVAC and refrigeration equipment on campus. Supervisor may assign other job-related duties not specifically listed under essential tasks.
- 30% Calibration, Operation and Maintenance of Building Automation System, HVAC Controls, and Electronic Devices
- 15% Calibration, Operation and Maintenance of Building Utility Metering.
- 15% System Commissioning
- 15% Maintain and Repair HVAC Systems
- 10% Renovation and New Construction
- 10% Safety
- 5% Record Keeping and Administration
This position is a mandatory position as defined in the Adverse Weather and Emergency Event Policy.
This position requires working an emergency call-back rotation and may be called in for emergency response during nights, weekends, and holidays.
Minimum Qualifications
- ASSOCIATE’S DEGREE IN ELECTRONICS; OR EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE. ALL DEGREES MUST BE RECEIVED FROM APPROPRIATELY ACCREDITED INSTITUTIONS.
Additional Required
- Must have a valid driver’s license and CFC Certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Five (5) to seven (7) years of directly related experience with a minimum of an Associate’s degree or two-year college equivalent preferred.
- BAS Control experience.
