2nd Shift: 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 midnight
Monday through Friday

What you'll do and what you'll bring

Position Function: Under supervision, perform service required in the operation and maintenance of heating, ventilating and air conditioning equipment, and related equipment, complying with EPA, OSHA, and all appropriate regulations and codes.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Perform maintenance and repair work on heating, ventilating, and air conditioning equipment, and report work performed on Preventive Maintenance Forms.
2. Troubleshoot, adjust, repair and calibrate controls on all HVAC equipment.
3. Inspect, maintain, and lubricate HVAC related pumps, motors, dampers, and other related equipment; inspect and clean coils and fans; inspect belts, vibration absorbers, and other related equipment.
4. Read and interpret drawings, diagrams and specifications pertaining to heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment.
5. Acquire and maintain knowledge of various job related chemicals, environmental concerns, and technological improvements/advancements.
6. Inspect, maintain, repair, and install insulation on water lines, steam lines, pumps, and other HVAC related equipment.
7. Operate building automation systems related to HVAC, including computer hardware and software.
8. Construct, fabricate, remodel, maintain, and repair air system fabrications for HVAC Systems as directed.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.
