- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Universal EPA Certification.
- Demonstrated HVAC experience, including the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
- Availability to participate in a rotating 24-hour on-call schedule.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Working knowledge of basic electronics and plumbing systems.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Basic computer applications skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, students, and campus stakeholders.
- Ability to perform the physical demands of the position, including lifting and moving up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations accurately.
