Help drive III-V-on-silicon heterogeneous integration technology through micro-transfer printing

What you will do

  • You will join the team at imec-Ghent responsible for maturing micro-transfer printing technology.
  • You will develop III-V heterogeneous integration process technology on 200mm silicon photonics wafers.
  • You will interact in projects with supply chain partners & end users of the technology.

Who you are

  • You have a solid background in III-V and / or silicon photonics process technology.
  • You have experience with heterogeneous integration technologies.
  • You hold a PhD or master’s degree in engineering or a related field. For applicants with a PhD, relevant industry experience is considered a plus; for applicants with a master’s degree, a minimum of three years of relevant experience is required.
  • Experience with high-precision Micro-Transfer Printing (μTP) processes is a plus.
  • You are a team player with excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
