What you would be doing
Teaching is a key component of this post, and you are expected to undertake in excess of 200 contact hours undergraduate teaching and close collaborative work with Human Anatomy Unit and other teachers of anatomy across the Faculty.
In addition, you will be expected to maintain a core research programme primarily in anatomy, emerging preservation models of clinical education. An interest in fostering interdisciplinary research would be particularly welcome, especially where this complements other established research activities within the Department. Example topics include world-leading programmes in simulation science, surgical technology, surgical education, medical robotics, new therapeutic methods and novel imaging approaches.
What we are looking for
You will be expected to have a proven track record in education and research including a track record of publications at the highest level and evidence of the ability to attract major competitive grant funding, commensurate with the level of appointment.
