Indigenous Australian Student Success Support Officer

- Remuneration: $86,571 to $91,079 pa (HEW4) (inclusive of $73,154 to $76,963 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)
- Location: Both Gardens Point and Kelvin Grove campuses
- Open to: Aboriginal Australians and Torres Strait Islander people. For this position it is a genuine occupational requirement that it be filled by an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person as permitted by and arguable under sections 25, 104 and 105 of the Queensland Anti-Discrimination Act (1991).
Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Indigenous Australian Student Success Support Officer to join Oodgeroo Unit, Indigenous Australians, Chancellery Division.
The Indigenous Australian Student Success Support Officer is responsible for the provision of telephone and face-to-face assistance to prospective and current students, staff and the public as well as ancillary support for the day-today activities of the Oodgeroo Unit. The role covers the full range of reception and administrative duties and may include project and event management.

What you need to succeed
- Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to the completion of an associate diploma qualification in conjunction with subsequent relevant work experience.
- Proven success in providing high quality front-line customer services to a diverse customer base.
- Demonstrated digital literacy including the ability to use large corporate systems to input, access, extract and interpret data.
- Demonstrated ability to apply reasoning, judgement and analytical skills in resolving routine issues.
- Demonstrated ability to connect, collaborate and communicate with staff, students and stakeholders in a team-based environment to achieve quality outcomes.
