About the area

The Industry Advisory function within UWA India supports development of external engagement and industry collaboration activities that connect academic programs with workforce, professional, and sector priorities across the Mumbai and Chennai campuses. The function works across academic and operational areas of the University to facilitate industry participation in learning, research, and institutional initiatives. Operating within the broader Operations portfolio, the Industry Advisory function contributes to establishment of sustainable partnerships and engagement frameworks that support graduate employability, industry connected learning, and the ongoing development of UWA India.

• Leads engagement with industry, government and professional sectors to inform academic programs and institutional initiatives aligned to workforce needs.
• Facilitates industry participation across teaching, learning and institutional activities, enabling industry connected learning and collaboration for UWA India.
• Builds sustainable industry networks that enhance academic relevance, graduate employability, institutional visibility and long-term partnerships.

About you

• A relevant tertiary qualification in business, education, industry engagement, public policy, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education.
• Demonstrated experience developing and managing partnerships with industry, government, and/or professional organisations within a complex organisational environment.
• Demonstrated ability to engage senior external stakeholders and build productive professional relationships.
• Experience coordinating industry engagement initiatives, advisory activities, or collaborative programs aligned with workforce or sector needs.
• Demonstrated understanding of governance, compliance, and contractual processes relevant to external partnerships or collaborative arrangements.
