Information Skills Specialist

Working closely with the Skills Development Manager, Digital Skills Specialist, Digital Learning team and academic departments, the postholder will support the embedding of academic and information skills across programmes in a consistent and equitable way. They will line‑manage the Information Skills Librarians and Information Skills Support Officers, including workload planning, performance support and development, and coordinate responsibilities to ensure cohesive teaching and learning activity.

The role supports service development by strengthening programme manager engagement and promoting awareness of training expectations. The postholder will provide operational leadership for the academic integrity and research skills support and contribute to impact measurement through effective reporting and interpretation of service data.
